A worthy competitor to the 150 bhp Hyundai Creta we reported on the other day, this Renault Duster, tuned to produce 138 bhp, is believed to be the most powerful of its kind in the country.

Tuned by Kochi based Wolf Performance Tuning and owned by Emil Manual Aruja, this particular Duster now produces 27% more power than stock, while the revised torque output, which now stands at 315 Nm, is 30% more than stock. Just for reference, in its highest state of tune, the Duster’s standard 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine is good for 108 bhp and 245 Nm of torque.

Visual upgrades to the tuned compact SUV include a set of fresh 15-inch wheels wrapped by all-terrain tires, auxiliary lamps, a Thule roof carrier, a LED light bar, along with gloss black finished chrome parts which compliment the black paint-job and blacked  out wheels. Performance figures are unknown, but this Duster should be considerably peppier than stock.
