Yet Another Chevrolet Cruze Facelift Launched in India

Chevrolet India has silently updated the Cruze in India once again. Chevrolet had refreshed the Cruze in October last year.

The Cruze facelift, launched last year, featured a revised grille, a new front bumper, re-profiled headlamps and new design alloy wheels. The updated Cruze also gets a longer features list, which now comprises of a front and side airbags (on LTZ).

In this minor refresh, Chevrolet has given turn indicators on the outer rear view mirrors. Also, Chevrolet has tuned the engine to extract more kilometres per litre of fuel. The automatic variant of the car now delivers 16.8 km/l, which is an increase of 0.5 km/l. The manual transmission variant has an ARAI claimed fuel efficiency of 17.3 kmpl.

Mechanically, the car remains unchanged and will be powered by the same 2.0-litre VCDi engine with max power of 166 PS. The Chevrolet Cruze comes with option of both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission.  The automatic transmission is available only in the top end LTZ trim.
