Yamaha Will Launch Two New Bikes This Year

This one is EC-03 Zero Emission Scooter powered by Sanyo’s 50V lithium ion battery running about 43 km\hr with a single six-hour charge ( One of Yamaha's Electric Bikes )

2010 was one amazing year for Yamaha Motors in India with selling 3.7 lakh units and exporting 1.2 lakh units Mr. Roy Kurian the National Business Head for Yamaha Motors said that they have an ambitious aim this year of doing business 40-50 % more than last year. Mr. Kurian also mentioned about introducing two new motorcycles and new variants to the existing bike range.

Talking about the Yamaha Scooters which were in the lime light last year, Yamaha Motors Director of Marketing and Sales Mr. Jun Nakata ensured by saying that the company is working on the product so that it suits the local conditions.  The company wants to give the Indian consumer the best product.  Along with Scooters Yamaha Motors is planning to launch electric bikes as they prove to be the best economic alternative to petrol-powered engines. With fuel prices reaching new heights these eclectic bikes will prove worthy and supposedly be launched soon.
