Yamaha India launched new colour variants for its popular 150 cc faired motorcycle, the R15 V2.0. The motorcycle will now be available in three color variants namely Revving Blue, Sparky Green and Adrenaline Red. The earlier prices of depended on the color variants ranging from INR 1,14,241 to INR 1,17,373. Now all colour variants will come with a uniform price tag of INR 1,18,373 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi).
Powering the R15 V2.0 will be the same 148 cc liquid cooled, single cylinder SOHC engine that produces a maximum power output of 17 PS at 8500 rpm while the peak torque of 15 Nm comes up at 7500 rpm. This engine sends power to the rear wheel with the help of a six speed gearbox.
The R15 that is based on a delta box frame comes with telescopic suspension upfront and a mono suspension at the rear. Dimension wise, the motorcycle measures 1970 mm in length, 670 mm in width, 1070 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1345 mm. The ground clearance of this bike stands at 160 mm while it has a kerb weight of 136 kg. It comes with disc brakes at both ends while the 17 inch wheels are wrapped in a 90/80-17 tyre upfront and a 130/70-R17 at the rear.
