After launching the S60 R-Design, Volvo India has launched the XC60 R-Design in the Indian market. The XC60 R-Design price has been pegged at INR 51 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. Like all other models, Volvo will sell the car in India via the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route.
The Volvo XC60 R-Design will be on sale with the D4 turbo diesel engine in the Summum trim. The regular XC60 D4 Summum trim retails at INR 45.6 lakh.The R-Design variant is more heavy on the pocket by INR 5.4 lakh.
Over and above the features on the regular XC60, the R-Design edition gets the following equipment :
- R-Design body kit
- R-Design badge
- 18-inch-5 spoke diamond-cut alloys
- New audio system
- Steering wheel with paddle shifters
- Satin finished wing mirrors
- Satellite navigation
- Rear view camera
- New 2 liter Drive-E turbo diesel engine with 181 bhp and 400 Nm of torque
- New 8 speed automatic gearbox instead of the old 6 speed box
