We have been reporting about the upcoming Volkswagen Vento facelift in detail. Now, the Volkswagen Vento facelift has been leaked months ahead of its official launch in India. The images happen to be clicked in Russia where it sells with the Polo Sedan moniker.
As already reported by us, the Vento facelift will come with some visual upgrades only. Engine and mechanicals are expected to remain the same. At the front, the facelifted model features a three slat chrome grille with the VW badge now housed in those slats. The current model has the badge touching the bonnet. It also gets a refreshed front bumper with new foglights. At the rear, Volkswagen has bestowed the car with a new bumper and a redesigned boot lid. A horizontal strip runs across the boot.
On the inside, VW may throw in some bells n whistles for the facelifted model. The car will come with a darker shade of beige. VW will continue to sell the Vento with the 1.2 liter TSi and 1.5 liter TDi engines mated to the DSG. Also on offer will be the 1.6 liter petrol engine churning out 105 PS which will be mated to a 5 speed manual transmission.
