Volkswagen India has joined the likes of Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai India and few others by bringing its used cars business Das WeltAuto to the country. The first Volkswagen India used car dealership was inaugurated yesterday at Mumbai. The manufacturer has ventured into the used car business with a network of 15 dealerships across India. VW India plans to launch as many as 7 more dealers by the end of this year. Cars from any make can be bought and sold at the VW India’s used car dealerships. These dealerships will offer one year warranty on all VW cars and a six months warranty on every non-VW car they sell. Every car will go through a 160-point checklist before being put on sale.
