To the uninitiated, this car is just another custom painted, matte blue BMW X6. But the paintwork hides an amazing trick up its sleeve – it changes color instantly when the surface comes in contact with warm water.
This is possible to the usage of something called thermochromic paint, with elements in it that rely on thermochromism – the property of a substance to change color due to a change of temperature.
What’s more, in the case of the X6, on application of heat, the original blue gives way to a green livery that centers around the ‘The Incredible Hulk’! The whole gist of the concept being – X6 (Bruce Banner) gets angry and hot; transforms into the Hulk.
The X6 with magic paint is the handiwork of Rene Turrek, a German graffiti artist.
