The updated 2015 Honda Jazz will make its way into the country and the Indian arm of the Japanese car maker has already started promoting this upcoming premium hatchback via social media platforms. Promoted with the hash tags #NothingElseIsLike and #AllNewHonda, the 2015 Honda Jazz is expected to hit the showrooms in the month of June 2015. Honda has also released a teaser video of the 2015 Jazz.

Earlier reports suggested that the production of the new 2015 Honda Jazz has been commenced at the Rajasthan plant. Reports also suggest that the new Jazz will receive 1.5 litre i-DTEC turbo diesel motor found in the Amaze, the City and the Mobilio. The petrol variant will share the 1.2 litre motor with the Brio. A 5-speed manual transmission will be standard but buyers can also opt for a CVT gearbox with steering mounted paddle shifters. The CVT, however, will be limited to the petrol variant only.
The new Jazz will also be equipped for safety. The hatchback scored five stars from Australasian New Car Assessment Programme (ANCAP) safety rating agency. The new Jazz scored 36.58 out of a possible 37 in the crash test and received a five-star rating. In terms of frontal impact, the Honda Jazz scored 15.58 out of 16 while it earned all 16 points in side impact. The new Jazz receives antilock brakes (ABS), electronic brake distribution (EBD) and electronic stability control (ESC) as standard. All Jazz variants also come standard with reversing collision avoidance and emergency stop signal (ESS).
As we said before, the car is expected to reach dealerships by June 2015. The 2015 Honda Jazz will compete against the Hyundai Elite i20, Volkswagen Polo and the Fiat Punto in the Indian car market.
