Lamborghinis today aren’t as rare as they used to be a few years ago. That’s probably the case with most of the exotic and super premium vehicles such as a Ferrari, Rolls Royce or a Maserati. Even though there are a number of personalization options available for these high end sports/luxury vehicles, some people just don’t find them exciting enough. That’s when aftermarket tuners such as Novitec group come to the rescue.
Located in Stetten, Gemany, the tuning company is quite popular among the class that can very well afford a model or two of the aforementioned makes. Of the many models they have undertaken, this article features the Novitec Torado Lamborghini Aventador Super Veloce. While the Aventador SV is itself an exotic machine with a production run of just 500 units, this mod job will make the model all the more exclusive. On the exterior, the supercar receives carbon aerodynamic components that have been reportedly fine tuned in a wind tunnel.
Coming to the front fascia, the model receives a carbon fibre lip spoiler and strut which is finished in a shade of matte black. Further above comes the carbon fibre trunk lid with integrated air ducts. The latter reduces lift on the front axle at high speeds, which in-turn, improves the handling stability. The aforementioned additions give the vehicle a far more aggressive look too.

Moving on to the sides, the ORVM’s receive a naked carbon fibre mirror cover. Other additional parts that are made of carbon fibre include the side air-intakes and the rocker panels. The 20 inch Vossen forged wheels on the front and the 21 inch wheels on the rear, available in 72 colour options, are wrapped in a set of Pirelli P-Zero 255/30ZR and 355/25 ZR rubber respectively.
Towards the posterior, the Aventador SV receives a massive carbon fibre wing above. Below the wing are two integrated fins that are designed to optimize the directional stability at high speeds. Also seen are the carbon fibre air ventilation vents for the engine bonnet.
Coming to the powertrain, the Novitec tuned Aventador SV receives a performance upgrade in the form of an ECU remap and the installation of a high performance exhaust system that boosts the power output of the 6.5 litre 12 cylinder engine from the stock 750 hp to a present 786 hp @ 8400 rpm. The new peak torque of 738 Nm is now said to come up at 5900 rpm. The exhaust is made from Inconel alloy that is usually employed on formula 1 cars. The exhaust is hence 21 kgs lighter as compared to the stock exhaust. Also on option are exhausts with butterfly valves that can be controlled with the help of a remote control.

Another feature on the Novitec tuned Aventador SV are the sport springs which are said to be tailor made for the new wheels. This custom suspension help lower the ride by about 35 mm therefore lowering the centre of gravity, which in turn optimizes the handling of the vehicle. Not much is said about the interiors although the cockpit can be designed in detail with the finest leather, Alcantara and carbon in almost any colour desired to suit one’s taste.
