Kawasaki Ninja H to red line at rpm

Video: Kawasaki H2 R revving is pure eargasm

Kawasaki Ninja H2 to red-line at 14,000rpm (2)

The Kawasaki Ninja H2 R is the new hero in the international motorcycling scene. With a 300PS(!), 998cc, centrifugally supercharged liquid-cooled inline four cylinder engine (get that?!), the carbon fiber laden, Trellis framed behemoth is terribly well-endowed to achieve over 200mph. The R denotes its track only whereabouts. There will be a  street-legal version as well, which be called the Ninja H2 and it won’t be that fast, so who cares.

Not surprisingly then, it sounds spectacular. This video, uploaded by Swiss motorcycle magazine Moto Sport Schweiz, shows the manic H2 R revving inside a closed space, possibly at Kawasaki’s exhibit at the 2014 INTERMOT motorcycle show in Cologne, Germany, where the brute made its debut.

Watch as the blown, in-line four mill shrieks piercingly, causing ear-bleed as it hits the dizzying 14,000 rpm red-line.
