The seventh instalment of the Fast and Furious franchise is scheduled for an April release next year. Titled as “Furious 7: Vengeance Hits Home”, this James Wan directed movie revolves around the lives of Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and the gang.
This is the sequel to the Fast and Furious 6 where, after defeating Owen Shaw, Dominic Toretto and Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) and the crew return to the United States. However, Owen Shaw’s older brother, Ian Shaw (Jason Statham), comes after Dominic, seeking revenge for the death of his brother.
The existence of the character of Brian O’Conner played by Paul Walker also remains in question. Walker passed away in a car accident last year. Rumours were doing rounds that the character of Brain O’Conner would retire so that the franchise will continue. However, writer Chris Morgan denied any such rumours and said that all options on how to proceed are still being considered.
