Ferrari - Deserto Rosso - 2

The Middle-East is undoubtedly one of the biggest markets in the world for supercar manufacturers. From Lamborghini’s to Aston Martin’s to the super-exotic Bugatti’s and Pagani’s, there is not a single supercar that cannot be spotted in the land where oil is cheaper than water itself.

To pay tribute to the deep-rooted traditions of the Middle East Region, Ferrari has released a new breathtaking video that looks nothing less than a fairy tale from the Arabian Nights. Tagged as “Deserto Rosso”, this new promotional video showcases the majestic beauty of the desert celebrated by the stunning design of Ferrari cars. The phrase Deserto Rosso is Italian for ‘Red Desert’, evoking both the crimson dunes of Arabia’s deepest deserts and Ferrari’s signature colour which has stoked the passions of speed lovers for decades around the world.

Captured in the deserts surrounding the Liwa Oasis, home to some of the highest sand dunes in the world, the film is set over 24 hours, from sunrise to sunset, depicting two California T models navigating the terrain of the mystical ‘Empty Quarter’, or Rub’ al Khali as it’s known locally.

A picture speaks a thousand words and this video is worth billions. Check out the two Ferrari California T models ride through one of the picturesque deserts in the world:
