BMW is working hard on its engine technology, and preparing engines suitable for its EfficientDynamics campaign, which is Bavarian for clean, green and efficient. The latest to join the party in the BMW engines is a three-cylinder tubocharged unit sliced straight from the company’s straight six line of diesel engines. Highly efficient and reasonably powerful, the new engines with a cubic capacity of around 1.5-liters should be good for 150+bhp of power and 250+Nm of torque. The new engines will power the newer, smaller BMW’s and a few variants in the Mini range. Here’s a video
