SUNNYVALE, Calif. (Feb. 21, 2013) – Seven small robots could help change the fundamental way we get around forever. These little chick-like creatures made by Nissan Motor Company are called EPOROs - or zero emission robot car concepts.

The company’s ICC World T20 zone at the Delhi Auto Expo 2016 gets the cricket fans and the tournament one step closer to each other. This is one of their fan engagement activities before the World Twenty20 tournament begins. Cricket enthusiasts also have the options to test their skills at the specially designed PitchVision PowerPlay game kiosk. After registering, participants can demonstrate their batting skills to set records as well as store their batting videos on the PitchVision server.

Technology enthusiasts can witness future automotive possibilities with the help of the advanced technology EPORO robot demonstrations. These robots are designed to travel in a group that mimics the behavioural patterns of a school of fish in avoiding obstacles without colliding with each other. The EPORO robots feature collision avoidance systems that can be applied to the next generation of automobiles and demonstrate the future possibilities of driving in Nissan’s autonomous drive programme. Additionally, the company is also reaching out to enthusiasts via digital engagement initiatives. The contest “Meet The Legend” gives 10 winners the opportunity to be among the first fans from the country to get up close and personal with the Nissan halo vehicles.
