Earlier images that were leaked on the web showed the next-gen 2017 Porsche Panamera ahead of its launch this year. Now the Stuttgart based luxury automobile manufacturer has officially released teasers for the upcoming model. A teaser image displaying the rear profile of the 4 door Coupe as well as a teaser video has been released prior to its debut at the Paris Motor Show that would be held in October.

The teaser image of the 2017 Panamera reveals that its tail lamps have been somewhat inspired from the new Porsche 911. The tail light assembly is now sleeker while a thin strip of light is seen running across the length of the tailgate. Below this light sits the Porsche badging.

Based on parent company Volkswagen’s MSB platform, the light-weight, high-strength materials will help the upcoming model shed 90 kgs as compared to its predecessor. Powering the range will be the turbocharged V6 and V8 engines, both in petrol and diesel while a plug-in hybrid powertrain is likely to make its debut later.
