Upcoming Volkswagen Vento Facelift Spied With LED Taillights

Only this month, we brought you the spy pics of the upcoming Volkswagen Vento facelift from Russia. Now, the model has been spied somewhere on our soil with LED taillights. It is to be noted that the Russian Polo sedan (as VW Russia calls the Vento) featured a similar setup of taillights, although since they weren’t illuminated at the time of clicking, the same cannot be confirmed.

The facelifted model will only get cosmetic updates and there won’t be any upgrade to the car on the mechanical front. At the frontal section, the facelifted model features a three slat chrome grille with the VW badge now housed in those slats. The current model has the badge touching the bonnet, whereas on the facelift, it doesn’t. The front bumper has been refreshed and now comes with a new set of foglights (not visible in these images). At the rear, Volkswagen has bestowed the car with a new bumper and a redesigned boot lid. A horizontal strip runs across the boot.

On the inside, VW may equip the car with some more bells n whistles compared to the outgoing model. Reports say the car will come with a darker shade of beige. As aforementioned, VW will continue to sell the Vento with the 1.2 liter TSi and 1.5 liter TDi engines connected to the DSG. Also on offer will be the 1.6 liter petrol engine churning out 105 PS which will be connected to a 5 speed manual transmission.
