Upcoming 2015 Ford F-150 to be powered by a 320bhp, 2.7-liter V6 twin-turbo EcoBoost engine

We have been reporting in detail about the upcoming 2015 Ford F-150. The all new 2015 Ford F-150 pick up truck will make its public debut at the North American International Motor Show (NAIMS) 2014 (aka Detroit Motor Show), which will happen next month and it seems like the next F-150 will be a revelation of shots.

As per a recent report that has surfaced on the cyber space, the upcoming 2015 Ford F-150 will be powered by an all-new 2.7 litre V6 EcoBoost engine that will be high on both performance and economy. This upcoming V6 motor will have a max power output of 320 bhp (239 kW) and a peak torque of 375 lb-ft (508 Nm). This new engine will be positioned higher than than the entry-level V6 3.7-liter with 300 bhp (224 kW) of max power and 280 lb-ft (379 Nm) of peak torque. The most powerful engine however, will continue to be the V6 3.5-liter EcoBoost tahat will be positioned higher than the V8 5.0-liter.

The F-150 2015 will boast of Atlas concept-inspired looks and a could also have a 10 speed automatic gearbox.

As we said earlier, the 2015 Ford F-150 will make its public debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
