Other than the styling updates that comprise of that Aston Martin inspired front end, the new Ford Fiesta facelift will come loaded with several new features such as a push button start, under-seat storage, 60/40 folding rear seat, Ford SYNC technology with voice activated controls and automatic headlights. Other than that new front grille, the car also gets a new set of headlights, taillights, and new design alloy wheels.

While the car maker has so far refrained from making any official announcement regarding the car’s engine options, the official website shows that the car will continue to be available with the 1.5-liter TDCI turbo diesel engine. The 1.5-liter motor being offered with the current car is also likely to be carried over. The petrol engine will be available with both a manual and a dual clutch automatic transmission.

It may be noted that while the current generation Ford Fiesta has done pretty well in most markets it is sold in, it has failed to garner much of a fan following in India. Much of this can be attributed to the high sales price that the car was launched with. However, all this might be set to change with the advent of the facelift, which is likely to go on sale in India in very near future.
