TVS Motor Company has marked the sales of 2,27,096 vehicles in the month of April this year. This achievement infers a 16% growth in the company’s sales as it sold 1,95,937 units in the same month last year.
TVS Motor Company has registered a 19.5% increase in their sales figure. The company sold 186,041 units in April 2015 which bumped up to 222,350 units in April 2016. Marching ahead with the growth, their domestic two-wheeler sales grew by 21.6% increasing from 162,516 units in April 2015 to 197,692 units in April 2016.
TVS sold 63,341 scooters in April 2016 which marks a growth of 28.3 % from the 49,375 units sold in April 2015. Motorcycles sales grew by 20.7% increasing from 74,953 units in the month of April 2015 to 90,491 units in April 2016. Three wheeler of the company registered sales of 4,746 units in April 2016 as against 9,896 units in April 2015.
Further, speaking about the exports, the company’s total overseas registered sales in the month of April 2016 stands at 28,354 units as against 32,426 units in April 2015. Two wheeler exports grew by 4.8% increasing from 23,525 units in April 2015 to 24,658 units in April 2016.
