What Do You Think Of The All-New 2018 Toyota Camry?

For 15 years, the Toyota Camry has been the best-selling car in America. The best-seller just got a major overhaul, and we must say that we’re impressed.

The 2018 Toyota Camry, based on the TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture), is dimensionally lower, wider, and longer than the outgoing model, along with a wheelbase that’s been extended by two inches.

2018 Toyota Camry Design

The new Camry looks bold; especially in the sportier SE and XSE grades. The new styling gives it a newfound, peppery flavor that its predecessors lacked.

You’ve got to love the buck toothed front grille, the swooping roof-line, the attractive tail lamps and the confident stance. In fact, the proportions are classic rear-wheel-drive, allowing for a strong silhouette.

The sportier grades get aggressive bumpers, skirts, spoilers, a rear diffuser, quad exhaust tips and flashier, 19-inch wheels.

With all the athletic paraphernalia in place, the XSE graded Camry evokes cues from more premium sports sedans like the BMW M3 and the new Alfa Romeo Giulia.

A dual tone color scheme is also available for the SE and XSE grades. The entry-level LE and premium XLE grades come with friendlier bodywork that include a front bumper with a gaping grille, chrome beadings around the windows and lovely, multi-spoke wheels.

2018 Toyota Camry Interior

The completely redesigned interior has a driver focused layout, while the dashboard sports a sweeping new character line that flows down from the instrument cluster and bisects the center console waterfall.

All surfaces throughout the cabin—dashboard, instrument panel, center console, door trim, etc.—claim to employ the highest grade of soft touch and premium materials.

The front seats are said to have been completely reengineered with improved ergonomics, while rear-seat accommodations promise improved roominess and ergonomics.

Interlinked display areas inside the cabin include a 10-inch color Head-Up Display (HUD), a seven-inch multi-information display within the instrument cluster, and an eight-inch audio/navigation display and a HVAC control panel.
