Team Galag from Saudi Arabia joined hands with Caresto, a Swedish concept and prototype vehicle maker for an annual British 3,000-mile (4,800 km) international celebrity motor rally, the Gumball 3000. Their entry? A fully functional Batmobile! Leif Tufvesson of Caresto engineered and developed the concept vehicle by building the Arkham Knight Batmobile around a Lamborghini-sourced engine. Team Galag calls their bad-ass Batmobile as the TGX. The team previously made news by getting the Tumbler version of the Batmobile to a rally event.

The Team Galag’s Batmobile is based on the Arkham Knight game version of the vehicle. The vehicle is built on a specially made high rigid tubular frame and is claimed to provide drivability and full functionality. The TGX gets a massive wheelbase of 3,400mm and stands 2,500mm tall. The body work is carved out of full-scale carbon fiber moulds designed with the help of Computer Aided Design.

The interior is illuminated with lights fitted in the seats, on the floor and on pedals. It gets a combination of soft black leather and see-through fabric stitched together by golden knits. The cabin access of the Batmobile is just like in the movies with the shell, featuring the front windshield and side windows, popping up. The vehicle is equipped with climate control, power steering and audio system.

Powering the Arkham Knight Batmobile is the Gallardo’s V10 heart that can make a whopping 560hp. The powerplant is assisted by a paddle shift gearbox that kicks the power to the 26-inch wheels. The front wheels get 8-pot and the rear get 6-pot Brembo callipers on its disc brakes. The suspensions on the front as well as rear are fully independent and made with double wishbones connected to the coil over shock absorbers, up front through a specially designed aluminum push rod.
