Only a couple of days ago we reported that Tata Motors is close to launch a new engine variant of its Tata Vista hatchback.
The car now becomes more powerful and gets a new dashboard that has been borrowed from the sedan sibling Manza. Christened the Vista Quadrajet 90, the new variant gets the 1.3 Liter Fiat Multijet unit with a VGT. The VGT Multijet motor in Vista pumps out a healthy 88Bhp-200Nm and the car is almost as powerful as the Fiat Grande Punto 90HP.
The new engine variant can be bought in VX and ZX trim level.
The Indica Vista 90 VX sports ABS and EBD and the ZX also gets dual airbags and alloy wheels. The Tata Indica Vista Quadrajet 90 range starts at INR 5.74 lakhs (VX) and goes all the way to INR 6.40 (ZX).
Our good friends at Tata Motors have informed us that that the Indian auto giant is also close to launching the CR4 engine variant of the Vista. It may be noted that the CR4 is definitely a generation ahead of the 1.4 TDI that currently powers the Vista and there is a good chance that the upcoming variant would replace the TDI powered Vista.
