The good folks at IAB have reported that the Tata Nano emax CNG variant will be launched in India on October 8. The launch event would take place in Ahmedabad and here are a bunch of images of the production spec Nano emax CNG that were taken at a dealership in North India.
From what we can observe by comparing these images with those of the Nano emax CNG showcased at Horizonext, held in June, the production spec car would get:
- a different color theme for the instrument cluster
- a larger steering wheel
- a slightly higher seating position
- the car won’t get a factory fitted mobile charger
- However, the car will come with a factory fitted fire extinguisher
The Nano emax CNG will come with a 8 litres CNG tanks that are situated below the driver’s seat. The Nano emax CNG will automatically switch to using petrol once it runs out of CNG. The car could be as much as INR 40,000 pricier than the comparable petrol variant.
The car will go on sale in two variants– CX and LX.
