Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL), introduced two new motorcycles today – The GSX-S1000, a naked roadster (above) and the GSX-S1000F, its fully faired version (below). The Suzuki GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F are both available in two colours – Candy Daring Red / Glass Sparkle Black – AV4 and Metallic Triton Blue – YSF and are priced at Rs.1,225,000 and 1,270,000 (Ex-showroom, New Delhi), respectively.
Both GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F have inherited the engine of the GSX-R1000, which happens to be a 999 cc, 4-stroke, liquid cooled, DOHC, in-line, four cylinder motor that pushes out 144 bhp and 105 Nm of torque. Added to the mix is an advanced & lightweight chassis, switchable 3-mode traction control system, 43mm inverted KYB forks, radial mount monobloc brembo brakes and a multi-information instrument cluster.
