Suzuki A Star gets a facelift

Maruti Suzuki recently introduced the 2012 A-Star in the Indian market. The car, which is basically the latest gen Alto, sells alongside the last gen model with a different name in Indian market.  We have been waiting to lay our eyes on the facelift and finally, the A-Star receives a good dosage of botox. The facelifted car  is about to go on sale in the Chinese market. The front fascia on the refreshed car gets a huge revision with a set of new headlamps and a new quadrangular grill. While it is quite refreshing to see the A Star with a new look, we don’t have very nice things to say about the facelift. The outgoing fascia is cutesy and girly but the new looks is arguably very weird and might not appeal to either of the sexes. Among other things, the facelift also gets a new set of alloys, sporty tail lamps and a new rear bumper. We are not sure if this facelifted version will come to Indian market but we really wonder how it will fare if it does.

What do you have to say?

  1. Frankly, A star doesn't need a face lift… All it need is a Diesel mill & stretched back seats… Current A star could only accommodate kids at back….
