The supercar and superbike culture in the country seems to be on the rise as the number of events, gatherings and drives, official as well as private, keep adding up each and ever year. The latest, organized drive of 2015 is called XLR8, and is organized by Valve. To be flagged off from Total Car Mall, Palm Beach Road, Belapur, on 22nd Feb, on Supercar Sunday, 2015, it promises to feature as many as 20 Sportscars/Supercars and 13 Superbikes.
The “Casual Sunday Drive”, along with RestLess as a Energy Drink partner, scheduled from 9 am to 12 pm, will include posh cars like Audi R8, Audi TT, Lamborghini Gallardo, Bentley Continental GT, Mercedes C63 AMG, Hummer H2, etc. On the two-wheeled front, it will feature superbikes like Honda Rune, Hayabusa, Yamaha R1, Honda Goldwing, etc. BMW India will be exhibiting one of its Motorrad Superbike and the 3GT during the drive.
