Skoda is planning to bring to light six new car models in the year 2013. While the new rapid for the European market has already been unveiled, there are 5 more interesting vehicles waiting for the wraps to come off them. Skoda France has given us this yummy piece of news via their FB page.
The second model to be unveiled would be the highly anticipated Skoda Octavia / Laura in March, which has been talked about in detail on Motoroids elsewhere. Following the new Octavia would be its Combi (estate) variant in June with Europe in the crosshairs. The Combi variant of the first gen Skoda was launched in India too, but without much success. We reckon, Skoda wont even try this variant in India this time around.
The Octavia and Combi cousins will be followed closely by the facelifted version of the highly popular Superb limo, which would be the last refresh to the car before its ends its journey and gets completely reincarnated.
While the details about the two new products is not known yet, we are putting our money on a Octavia vRS variant and new Yeti. We cannot entirely write off the chances of one or two completely new models being unveiled as well. With so little to decipher from, we are left with no choice but to shoot in the dark. As the year 2013 progresses, we’ll let you know, as we come to know whether our arrows have hit the bulls-eye or strayed away. Stay tuned!
