At the Auto Expo 2014, Hero displayed a trio of scooters which included the 111cc Dash, the 125cc Dare and the bold 157.1cc ZIR. Now, a camouflaged scooter has been spied, indicating that Hero MotoCorp is indeed working on an Activa competitor. As the pictures suggest, none of the body panels can be attributed to the trio displayed at the Expo, which means that this isn’t based on any of the showcased trio, strictly from a stylistic standpoint.
 Hero Dare 125cc
What it could be hiding is the 111cc, air-cooled engine from the Dash that makes 8.4bhp and 0.95kgm of torque, or the 125cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine from the Dare, churning out maximum power of 9bhp at 7500rpm with a maximum torque output of 0.99kgm at 6500rpm. Looking at the bulky panel-work, it looks like its the latter.
 Hero Dash 110cc
Features could include a service due lamp on the instrument console, mobile charging socket, dual-tone mirrors, (IBS) Integrated Braking System (Hero’s version of Honda’s Combi-Braking System), telescopic forks, tubeless tyres, dual-tone paint scheme and LED tail-lights. The new scooter will take on the likes of the Honda Activa(110/125), TVS Jupiter, Mahindra Gusto, Suzuki Access 125 and the Yamaha Cygnus Alpha.
