SPIED: Mercedes Benz E Class coupe facelift caught testing

The International car market is buzzing with activity these days. Hours after posting about the upcoming BMW M4 being spotted testing, we have managed to lay our hands on the spy pics of E Class coupe facelift. We had seen this coming as we already have reported about the E-Class sedan facelift in recent past. It has now emerged that the entire range of E Class, which includes the sedan, the coupe and the estate, will lose the twin pod headlight set up and will sport a single unit on each hand side. Safely expect the new headlight unit to boast of LED daytime running lights. These are found on the bumper of the current edition. As predicted, the trademark Mercedes grille will be set at a slightly more upright position. While the rear end will get a new bumper, the rear tail lamp cluster will largely remain the same. On the inside, safely expect slight tweaking of the dashboard and a new steering wheel.

Also expect some revisions to the powertrains for more performance and fuel efficiency.
