The Bajaj Pulsar 200SS is one of the most anticipated motorcycles for 2015 because of the promising performance at an affordable price tag and it seems like the wait is about to get over. This latest spy image found on a social networking website indicates that the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 200SS might have arrived at a dealership in India. What makes us believe that this photograph was snapped at a Indian dealership? One can spot a saree guard on the motorcycle which is mandatory for India motorcycles.

The Bajaj Pulsar 200SS is the fully faired variant of the naked roadster and the most powerful Pulsar motorcycle yet, the 200NS. The design of the Pulsar 200SS has been borrowed from the the 375cc variant that was first showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo in Delhi.

In terms of power, the engine, a 199.5 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled, carburetor employed unit producing 23.52 PS (23.18 bhp) at 9,500 rpm and 18.3 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm will be shared with the Pulsar 200NS. However, it’s still not clear whether this upcoming Pulsar will benefit from fuel-injection or not. The Pulsar 200NS is available as a fuel-injected model in Turkey with a power output of 24.4PS, about 1PS higher than the current carburetor equipped Pulsar 200NS of India. So it won’t be incorrect to expect the same configuration to reflect on the Indian models.

The Bajaj Pulsar 200SS is expected to be up for grabs very soon. How soon? We expect the Indian two-wheeler major to come out with an announcement very soon.

Stay tuned to Motoroids for more updates from the motoring industry.
