Mahindra is thoroughly testing a long list of products, lined up to be introduce in the foreseeable future. One of the highly anticipated products from Mahindra, post the launch of the new generation Scorpio, is the Bolero. The latest spy images of the upcoming Mahindra Bolero A.K.A the U301 have surfaced from Coimbatore.
The new spy images reveal some bits of interior of the upcoming Bolero. From what we can make out from the images, the new Bolero will receive a three-spoke steering, new dashboard and a touch screen display. On the outside, we could spot roof rails, alloy wheels, and side-step headlights.
It is anticipated that Mahindra will offer the Bolero in two variants. One will be a regular sized Bolero which is codename U301. The second car, codenamed S101, will be a sub-four meter SUV. The sub-four meter size would help Mahindra price the compact SUV version very competitively. In terms of power, you can expect 1.5 or a 1.6-litre petrol and diesel power plants under the bonnet.
The new Bolero is expected to hit the showrooms by early to mid next year. We feel that Mahindra will price these two new vehicles in the Rs 5-8 lakh rupee bracket.
