Skoda Auto India, the Indian subsidiary of VW Group owned Czech car maker, has launched the new Ultima Edition of its Rapid sedan in Indian car market. The new Skoda Rapid Ultima Edition price in India starts at @ INR 8.3 lakhs and goes on sale with with immediate effect. The new Skoda Rapid Ultima Edition is based on the recently launched Skoda Rapid facelift and is available in both Elegance and Ambition trim level and here is Skoda Rapid Ultima Edition price list as follows-

With the exception of a an exterior decal stretching from the hood over the roof all the way to the boot and across the shoulder line of the car, there is nothing else to differentiate it from the regular model in terms of visual appeal.

Mechanically, the car remains unchanged and continues to be powered by the same motors that power the regular variant. The 1.6 litre petrol engine that powers the Rapid Ultima has a max power of 105 PS @ 5,250 rpm and peak torque of 220 Nm @ 1,530-3,800 rpm. The Rapid Ultima diesel variant is powered by a 1.6 litre diesel engine that has a max power of 105 PS @ 4,400 rpm and a peak torque of 250 Nm @ 1,500-2,500 rpm.
