According to reports, Skoda is planning to showcase the four-door Octavia Coupe at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2014.

This Coupe from the Czech car maker has a low roof line, flat windscreen and frame-less windows. Since the vehicle is pitted against the sister-company’s Volkswagen Passat CC, it adopts similar design cues. Reports suggest that the Coupe will use the same MQB platform, hence the wheelbase will be same as that of the sedan, and so will be the boot space. With the rear seats folded, the boot space will be a whopping 1500 litres.

Speaking about the frontal section, the Coupe features triangular LED headlights and fog lights. The Skoda family grille will be integrated with a new bumper design. The interior space will be decreased due to the low roof line, while the interior setup and the dashboard arrangement will remain similar to the sedan version.

A vRS model is also on the cards, and is likely to make it to Geneva with the Coupe. The vRs will be available with  2.0 liter TSI and 2.0 liter TDI engine, with outputs of 218 bhp and 181 bhp respectively. The Coupe will be offered with the same engines powering the sedan- 1.2 and 1.4 TSI petrol motors, as well as the 1.6 TDI and 2.0 TDI oil burners.
