With an aim to incorporate the colourful culture and diversity of the Brazilian people, Scott Sports have created new limited edition bikes. Called as the Rio Edition, these bikes are made for a select group of athletes that have been chosen to compete in the most important race of the year at Rio Olympics 2016. India will be getting the limited edition FOIL Frame Set very soon.
Scott Sports will offer a limited edition of 50 Framesets to its customers worldwide while the #seRIOusgames edition is dedicated to the Rio qualifiers only. The bike maker also witnessed the glorious win of their two International Athletes Nino Schurter and Jenny, who won the Rio Olympics 2016 on their special edition bikes in the MTB XC Category.
Michael Pinto, The Product Team Head, said, “We researched on the integration of these patterns into our designs that features SCOTT’s ‘Racing Concept’ for the big showdown during our short vacation.” We also worked on the colors and symbols that represent the various aspects of Brazil and matched it up to the innovation and spirit of the Olympics, he adds.”
Speaking on the occasion, Jaymin Shah, Country Manager, Scott Sports India said that for them at Scott Sports India this limited edition product is a way of paying tribute to the dedication and hard work that each Olympic Athlete puts in throughout his/her sporting career. They will be raising funds through the Auction sale of this Limited Edition frameset, the funds will be donated to an organization which works with children in promoting sports at grassroots level.
