If the reports from the automotive print monthly Auto India were to be believed, British maker of exquisitely designed sports cars – Aston Martin is coming to India sooner than you think. The supremely sexy ride of James Bond is going to grace our shores soon.
The company will start its operations in the country with starting dealerships in major metros. One dealer each in Mumbai and Delhi will initialize the company’s business in India. The model range to be introduced in the country will include the Vantage V8, the DBS and the four-door Rapide. The V12 version of the Vantage may be available too, but no details have emerged yet. The price of the Vantage in its V8 avatar, however, will be a little more than 1 crore rupees.The company is expected to start selling the cars by the end of 2010.
