It is called “Amica” in UK, “Dodge Atos” in Mexico, “Kia Visto” in South Korea and here in India it is one of the loved family car called “Santro”. Since 1999 Hyundai is bringing smiles on the faces of many Indian families who look for a budget performer beyond the Maruti stable.

Gathering all the love from India and now abroad, Santro has made a bold statement worldwide by reaching a mark of 5 lakh exports. Very few Indian cars have achieved this feat and this surely answers the credibility of the car. Santro is proudly made in India and sold in more than 80 counties across the globe. Along with Santro Hyundai also exports the i10, i20 & Accent. Hyundai has an amazing 57% market share in passenger car exports in India.

M.D and C.E.O of Hyundai India Mr H.W.Park said “With this we gear up for the next phase of growth and remain committed to bringing world class products and service to our customers”. Now that commitment matters a lot in the Indian market and we hope the i45 and the RB Saloon i.e. New Verna cast a similar Santro like spell.
