TVS Motor Company launched the much awaited Apache 200 4V in January this year. The 200 cc motorcycle has garnered a lot of attention since its launch. The two-wheeler maker is currently launching the Apache 200 in a city-wise phased manner. Click here for the official review.

While prospective buyers are still awaiting this new 200cc to be available in their respective cities, recent reports suggest that TVS will introduce another variant of the new Apache that will be equipped with dual channel ABS. Reports also suggest that the ABS system, sourced from Continental AG, would be available at authorized dealerships and is expected to cost Rs. 10,000-12,000 over the standard model.

Reports further add that the ABS can be retrofitted once the component arrives at the dealerships. One can install the ABS irrespective of the variant. It is highly unlikely that the fitment will affect the warranty of the bike as it will be installed at the dealer level.
