Rumor Mill: 2017 Honda City Facelift India Launch on February 14

If reports are to be believed, Honda Car India plans to launch the 2017 City facelift on February 14, 2017. The new City will feature updates to the exterior as well as the interior while the engine options are likely to remain unchanged.

Visually, the 2017 Honda City facelift receives a redesigned front bumper, a new grille with a thick chrome insert flanked by LED headlamps with integrated LED DRL’s on either side. The side profile remains the same with the only change being new 16 inch diamond cut alloy wheels. At the rear, the model features a tweaked bumper, LED tail lights and a boot lip spoiler.

For the interiors, the new City facelift features a new 6.8 inch touchscreen infotainment system, start-stop button, LED cabin lights, cruise control, touch controls for the HVAC system, tilt and telescopic steering adjustment and a new reverse parking camera.

Engine options are likely to remain unchanged and hence the 2017 Honda City facelift will continue to draw power from the 1.5-litre petrol engine and 1.5-litre diesel engine. Transmission options will include a new six speed manual transmission (sourced from the BR-V) while a CVT option will be exclusively available for the petrol variant.
