BMW Group owned British car maker Rolls Royce is pretty regular with coming up with special edition of its luxury cars.

Many of the upcoming variants of luxury cars will be seen giving an appearance at the Auto China 2013 that will be soon held in Shanghai. The choice of venue is courtesy the high demand for special edition of luxury cars in China.

Rolls-Royce will showcase the new Ghost Alpine Trial Centenary Collection at the upcoming auto show in Shanghai. The distinctive feature of the upcoming variant is that it will pay tribute to the Silver Ghost that embarked on the Austrian Alpine Trials in 1913. Rolls-Royce Works Team and privateer entrant James Radley won this endurance race.

On the inside, the car will have a clock that shows the stages of the rally and timings. The inserts on the picnic tables and the dashboard show the topography and distances of the Alpine route. The headliner of the upcoming variant takes design inspiration from the hood of Radley’s car.
