Popular French car maker Renault might soon launch a premium brand. This brand, in all probability, will be called as Initiale. Initiale will be Renault what Infiniti is to Nissan and what Lexus is to Toyota. It may be noted that cheapest Renault on sale in India is the Pulse hatchback and as we have seen, car buying lot in developing markets does not really associate a manufacturer selling small cars with luxury products. This all means that Renault’s plan of coming up with a new brand makes considerable sense.

Well, I wont say that Race chip is not worth the money. I mentioned RD chip because someone I know well is using it in his Punto. As for your case, I think the Pete's will be the safest bet. I vouch for RD chip because I have personally experienced the difference. As for Pete's, safely expect to see a better low end performance but how much better? I am not sure of it.And then again, Pete's is more expensive to buy than RC. Lastly, buy Pete's and with eyes closed but if you are on a budget, go for RC. It is not very far behind Pete's and it will reward you with a tad more mileage as well.

I did look at the Race Dynamics chip. It's just that it is twice as expensive as the Race Chip. The Race Dynamic chip is Rs.19,999 and the Race chip is Eur 129.

These are wonderful results. I'm looking for a tuning box for a Skoda Rapid (same 1.6 TDI engine as the VW Vento), and what I'm looking at is a box that is simple to install, shouldn't have multiple presets as such – but can adapt to my driving style, in essence give me decent mileage when i'm driving slow with a light throttle, and give me the boost/punch i need if i'm driving fast with a good amount of throttle input.
Please assist in recommending one.
