According to a new report, the Renault Lodgy MPV has received a major price cut as the 85 PS variants are now cheaper by almost INR 1 lakh. The 110PS variants, however, did not receive any price cuts and are continued to be sold at the previously prevailing prices. The report was published by online portal MyCarHelpline.

Ex-showroom Delhi prices effective from July 2016
Renault Lodgy was launched in India in April 2015. The Lodgy draws power from a 1461cc dCi diesel engine which is available in two states of tune. The 85 PS variant delivers 200 Nm of torque while the 110 PS versions churns out 245 Nm of torque. Both engines come mated to a six-speed transmission. The 85 PS variant is claimed to deliver a fuel economy of 21.04 kmpl while the 110 PS returns 19.98 kmpl.

Renault is also celebrating its fifth anniversary in India and has announced exciting offers and benefits for some of its models. The Duster gets an exchange bonus of INR 25,000 along with a gift cheque of INR 25,000 while the Lodgy buyers will receive a gift cheque of INR 20,000. Renault is also offering insurance, exchange bonus and corporate bonus benefits of up to INR 41,000 with the Pulse. Renault Scala will be available with an insurance of Re 1 but the offer is available on select stocks and variant only.
