Renault’s ultra compact, ultra economical KWID crossover has been creating ripples in the industry. Even the biggies like Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai are sitting up and taking notice as the smart looking compact has gotten every car buyer in the entry-level segment interested. No wonder, then, that Renault India is receiving an overwhelming response for the its new hatchback. The smart looking machines has already achieved a major milestone by crossing 25,000 booking since its launch announcement.

According to an official statement by Renault India, tier II and tier III cities have also shown tremendous response reaching out to the dealerships with inquiries and booking requests. Renault KWID was launched on 24th September 2015 with its entry level variant priced at Rs. 2,56,968 (ex- showroom Delhi) which is India’s most fuel efficient petrol vehicle delivering mileage of 25.17 kmpl.
The Renault KWID’s deliveries will start next week and the car will be available across all Renault dealerships in the country. Renault is also claiming that the KWID will have best-in-class in maintenance part costs due to strong localization, which stands at 98% at the time of the launch. The company is offering a 50,000 Km/2 years Maintenance Policy, extendable up to 80,000 KM/4 years. Renault is also offering complementary Road Side Assistance for 2 years. To ensure a wide nationwide reach, the French carmaker is aiming at setting up 205 sales outlets by end of this quarter.

The innovative Virtual Showroom and the Renault KWID app have received a tremendous response across India.”
