The Renault Duster Adventure Edition you see in these images was recently showcased at the Auto Expo 2014.
Now, the car maker has launched the new special editon of its popular compact SUb for a price of INR 12.18 lakhs. The new Duster Adventure Edition is based on the 110 PS RxL variant and comes with a host of new visual upgrades that give the Duster a sligthly more rugged appearance.
The handful of new styling bits that are found on the Duster Adventure Edition include auxiliary lights and front bumper mouldings.
Renault Duster Adventure Edition features are as follows:
- Smoked headlights
- Door side sill
- New design alloy wheels
- Adventure Decal at D Pillar
- Front ‘Armour’ with Auxiliary Lamps
- Plastic Cladding on Wheel Arches
- Side Body Moulding
- Lime Green Seat Fabric Upholstery and Door Trim Fabric Insert
- Piano Black finish for the center console
- Piano Black finish for steering wheel
- Chrome door handles.
All the standard features available on the RxL trim have trickled down to the Adventure Edition. These features include- USB port, four speakers, steering mounted controls, dual airbags, ABS+EBD+Brake Assist, Sat Nav and electrically adjustable outer rear view mirrors.
Powering the new Renault Duster Adventure Edition is the same 1.5 litre diesel engine that powers the regular model. This engine has a max power of 110 PS @ 3,900 rpm and peak torque of 248 Nm @ 2,250 rpm and comes mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox.
