The Ford EcoSport compact SUV is taking its own sweet time entering the Indian car market. While the upcoming Compact SUV is still a couple of months away from its launch, the car has generated a huge interest among Indian car aficionados and the SUV buying lot.
Prices apart, almost every detail about the EcoSport has been widely known. However, the latest detail of the India spec EcoSport that has come to light might further boost the response that the car has got from prospective car buyers in the country.
Sushil Cherian of cars.zimbly.com has come up with spy images of the interiors of a Ford EcoSport test mule that was spotted in Chennai. What’s different about the interiors of this particular test mule is that the insides were seen draped in a shade of beige. The car that was spotted is the 1.5 AT petrol variant. The interiors can be seen sporting a dual tone beige-black colour combo. It is being said that this is the first EcoSport ever to have a beige-black interior colour scheme.
It may be noted that the EcoSport that has been on a pan-India promotional campaign sports an all black interior and the beige-black interior colour combo might be restricted to high end variants only. It may be noted that Indian car buyers have great fondness for beige interiors and this means that the EcoSport might come across as even more appealing.
The Beige-black combo on the EcoSport surely makes the interiors appear more airy than the all black version.
