The refreshed 2013 Chevrolet Cruze facelift has been silently launched in Indian car market.
The car goes on sale for a starting price of INR 13.75 lakh, (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Cruze facelift boasts of a revised grille, a new front bumper, re-profiled headlamps and new design alloy wheels.
The updated Cruze also gets a longer features list, which now comprises of a front and side airbags (on LTZ).
Mechanically, the Cruze remains the same as before and comes equipped with a 1,998cc four-cylinder diesel engine that has a max power of 166 PS and peak torque of 380 Nm. Transmission options on offer include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The manual transmission variant has an ARAI claimed fuel efficiency of 17.3 kmpl.
It would be nothing short of interesting to see if the minor visual update, coupled with a slightly longer features list, would make the Cruze sufficiently potent to fend off the competition from fresher rivals.
