Pune is the new home for Brose

Brose, the international automotive supplier has found its way in India by opening its first manufacturing plant at Pune. The company has invested 3.5 million Euros in the Indian plant and are willing to expand further. Having approached companies like the Tata and Mahindra Brose choose not to disclose the final word they had with them. The company looks at Pune as a knowledge based city and wishes to train and recruit students from the city. Currently the company has employed about 85 engineers, a number which is expected to reach 150 in a short span of time.

The Pune plant will deal with the manufacturing of window regulators, the production of which will reach 2 million in a year. By September 2011 the company expects to start the production of manual seat height adjusters.
