Bajaj Auto’s latest customer engagement initiative, termed the Pulsar Festival of Speed concluded after several qualifying rounds organized in different parts of the country. The grand finale of the Festival of Speed was organized in Chennai’s Madras Motor Race Track on 16th April 2016.
In the concluding round of the event, Saad Gaibi from Pune emerged the winner of what is termed as India’s first speed biking festival. He was awarded the first Pulsar Cup and a prize money of Rs 1 Lakh. First runner up Jonathan Johnson from Hyderabad was awarded Rs 50,000 cash prize, while the second runner up Yuvaraj S from Chennai took home Rs. 25,000
Through city specific “Pulsar Festival of Speed” events hosted by Bajaj, 36 Pulsar RS200 winners from Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai got qualifiedfor the Grand Finale that was held at the Madras Motor Race Track. Bajaj Auto sponsored the entire expense for the travel, accommodation and a day long professional training by MMSC for all 36 finalists, providing them with a first-of-its-kind opportunity.
The Pulsar ‘Festival of Speed’ Grand finale celebrations witnessed a performance by singer Benny Dayal. The finale also witnessed an adventure zone with bicycle motocross, skateboarding, Dirt racing, DJ performances, and stunt show acts by India’s famous stunt riding team – Ghostryderz
