The diesel and petrol prices have gone up by INR 1.34 and INR 2.37 respectively. Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. has already implemented the price changes from 16 October 2016.

On the price change the company stated that the current level of international product prices of Petrol & Diesel and INR-USD exchange rate warrant the change of prices, the impact of which is being passed on to the consumers with this price revision. The movement of prices in the international oil market and INR-USD exchange rate shall continue to be monitored closely and developing trends of the market will be reflected in future price changes.
