Porsche Panamera Turbo S Executive Exclusive. Wow, imagine saying that whenever fellow oligarchs to your country mansion in the Hamptons ask you what that car’s name is. But, other than the not-so-pithy name, this super-exclusive Panamera has a lot going for it.

Developed by the Porsche Exclusive personalization department, this luxury barge is aimed at the upper crust. People who might not be satisfied with your usual Panamera, and employs a chauffeur for most tasks.

Based on the long-wheelbase Panamera Turbo S Executive, this one (we aren’t going to type that ridiculously long name over and over again) sports 20-inch Sport Classic-design alloy wheels and front grille trim finished in black. To differentiate it from the plebeians’ Panamera, it will come with a two-tone “graduated” paint scheme that is so complex, robots can’t handle it, and so it has to be hand-applied.

The Exclusive, now 150mm longer than the standard model, puts all that new interior room to good use. The seats are covered in chestnut brown leather from Italian company Poltrona Frau, with contrasting black Nappa leather door trims with chestnut brown stitching – a combination reflecting the exterior colour treatment. A similar treatment is taken with the inlay trims, which transition from walnut burl wood to a black piano lacquer finish throughout the cabin.

As you’d expect, there’s a proper mini-theatre at the back with a system that boasts dual high-resolution 10.1-inch touchscreens, a built-in camera, an integrated DVD player, integrated mobile internet, and the ability to pump sound through wireless headphones or the car’s high-end Burmester surround sound system.

The mechanicals are unchanged though; maybe since it will be chauffeur driven mostly. What that means is a twin-turbocharged 4.8-litre V8 engine delivering an impressive 578PS alongside 750Nm of torque. And, if your driver fancies himself a bit of a hotshot, and you are willing to play along, that latter figure can be raised to 800Nm with the “overboost” function enabled. Keep it enabled and the car will hits 96 kmph in just 3.6 seconds, all go all the way to 310 kmph. Impressive for what it, after all, a luxury barge than can seat four.

To maintain its exclusive status, just 100 units of the Porsche Panamera Turbo S Executive Exclusive will be built, with each costing a whooping $314,461 (INR 2 crore) in Germany. All with come with a plaque showing its individual limited edition number.
